Horror Fantasy Character Illustrations

I’m expanding a dark fantasy universe and need a series of illustrations that bring more than ten distinct horror-infused characters to life. These images will be used primarily for world-building assets—think reference sheets and lore pages that help solidify the setting before we move on to covers, in-game portraits, or promotional art.

The visual tone I’m after mixes realistic anatomy and lighting with a stylized flair that pushes the monstrous, uncanny aspects of each character. Gore is minimal; atmosphere and psychological creepiness take center stage. Expect everything from eldritch nobles to rag-stitched revenants, all sharing a cohesive palette and design language.

What I’m looking for
• 10+ full-color character illustrations, each in its own file
• High-resolution (minimum 4K height), layered PSD or Clip Studio files so elements can be isolated later
• Front-facing pose plus one key prop or companion element per character
• Consistent rendering style across the entire set

Acceptance criteria
• Accurate proportion and believable lighting in a semi-realistic rendering style
• Cohesive color treatment and texturing that links the collection together
• Final files delivered print-ready (300 dpi CMYK) and web-optimized (sRGB, PNG/JPEG max quality)
