Cartoon Anti-Vaping Kids Storybook
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a short, engaging children’s story that speaks directly to elementary-aged readers about friendship and why vaping is bad for kids. The plot outline and page-by-page flow are already mapped out on my side; what’s missing is the polished text and integrated visuals that will bring the message to life.
Here’s the framework you will be working within:
• Length: exactly 10–12 pages, and every page must contain both narrative text and artwork so the visuals and words feel inseparable.
• Illustration style: bright, expressive cartoon-style characters and settings.
• Medium: fully digital so the final files can be shared easily and adjusted for print or screen use.
• Theme: show positive peer choices by highlighting supportive friendships while clearly illustrating the harms of vaping in an age-appropriate way.
Deliverables
1. A print-ready PDF and a layered source file (PSD, AI, or equivalent) covering all 10–12 fully illustrated pages.
2. Separate high-resolution PNGs or JPEGs of each illustration in case we want to reuse artwork for posters or classroom slides.
3. A simple text-only document of the final story manuscript for accessibility review.
Acceptance criteria
• Page count and text-image balance meet the brief without filler pages.
• Tone remains upbeat, never preachy, with language accessible to 8- to 11-year-olds.
• Illustrations are original, consistent in style, and sized to the final page layout.
• The anti-vaping message is clear, accurate, and age-appropriate while celebrating supportive friendship.
Once the finished files pass those checks, I will release final approval so the book can head straight into print or digital distribution.
