School Trip Risk Assessment Review

Job ID: 40150581

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

Our school has organised a hiking trip to Nepal and the draft risk assessment is almost complete. My aim now is to have an experienced safety professional refine every section so it stands up to scrutiny from parents, the head-teacher and our governing board.

Scope
– Strengthen the existing safety protocols, emergency procedures and travel logistics I have set out.
– Ensure full alignment with school policies, local regulations in Nepal and wider international travel guidelines.
– Highlight any overlooked hazards specific to altitude trekking, remote-area medical response and student supervision ratios.
– Return an updated risk assessment with clear, practical recommendations; comments tracked (or a change log) so I can see what has been altered.

Resources already prepared and ready to share: the draft risk assessment report, the detailed travel itinerary and a consolidated emergency contact list. Once your review is complete, I’ll integrate your revisions into our parent-facing pack and submit the final document for board approval, so clarity and professional language are essential.

If you have a background in expedition safety, outdoor education or similar fields and can turn this around quickly, I’m keen to get started.
