Job ID: 40306071

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

You will be responsible for defining and formalizing an organization-wide approach to underserved groups that has been designated as Priority Populations. These populations currently include Indigenous Peoples, Black Canadians, and people with disabilities but may evolve in future.

This approach must encompass 4 key aspects of our work with Priority Populations:
 1.      Engagement
 2.      Relationship building
 3.      Co-development of adapted service models, tools and resources to better meet the needs of these populations
 4.      System change efforts aimed at removing barriers they face (e.g., policy and regulatory advocacy)

This approach should:
·       Be rooted in clear principles
·       Define what we mean by a Priority Population
·       Reflect effective evidence-based practices for working with vulnerable, marginalized and/or underserved communities
·       Include clear accountability mechanisms
·       Be transparently communicated to our stakeholders.
·       Enable all teams in the organization to align their work accordingly and execute their roles with confidence. +2347065239253

Task: In a PowerPoint presentation of no more than 10 minutes, please outline at a very high-level the process you would undertake to achieve this outcome – key work components, milestones, deliverables, and a rough timeline.

Note: You will not be evaluated on specific knowledge related to these populations in Canada and its current approach to Priority Populations. Our interest is in learning how you would tackle such a significant objective, what you see as the work to be done, and how you would move this forward. Ensure your presentation acknowledges: the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Accessibility for
Ontarians with Disabilities Act, and their application in an organizational context
