Research interview
Budget: $10 – $12 USD
This research study attempts to gather all the different factors that can cause people to succumb to email scams whether in personal or work mailboxes. Your insights are needed to update the knowledge. Please participate only if you have an experience to share, like you once clicked a link in an email scam or of your organization phishing simulation exercise.
You will be asked to take part in an interview about your experience on email management. It should take approximately 15 minutes. This research project uses Zoom for audio recording or chat. The audio recording or chat will be used to transcribe the interview.
No sensitive information will be required from you. If you wish to protect your identity, you can create a fake email address.
There is nothing that will make the participant be uncomfortable. You can withdraw at any point of the study, without having to give a reason. If any question during the interview makes you feel uncomfortable, you do not have to answer it. Withdrawing from the study will have no effect on you. If you withdraw from the study, we will not retain the information you have given thus far, unless you are happy for us to do so.
No software will be asked to be downloaded during the interview. However, participants need to have Zoom installed in the device they will use prior to the interview.
