Database Migration from 1993 DOS Program
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for a professional who can help me extract the database data from a 1993 DOS program. The program was built using Ctree plus variable length storage technology and requires a password to export data. We have all the necessary program files and manual available.
Key requirements:
- The prime goal of this project is data migration.
- The extracted data should be in Excel, CSV, or any other manipulatable format that can be tailored for import elsewhere.
- I don't require any data cleaning or transformation during the migration process.
The ideal freelancer for this task should have:
- Experience in dealing with legacy DOS systems utilized in the early 1990's.
- Familiarity with Ctree database technology (variable length)
- The ability to unlock data with a password protection mechanism.
- Adeptness in data migration to various formats, particularly Excel and CSV.
