Tapo CCTV Monitoring Server Setup

Job ID: 39965131

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a complete, end-to-end setup of my own CCTV server that can display live feeds from more than ten TP-Link TAPO cameras at once. The operating system is still open—please recommend whichever platform (Windows, Linux, or macOS) will give the most stable, low-latency performance and is easiest to maintain long-term.

The job covers:
• Installing and hardening the server OS you recommend
• Deploying reliable monitoring software (e.g., ZoneMinder, Shinobi, Blue Iris or another you trust)
• Adding every Tapo stream and organising them into a clean, responsive dashboard
• Optimising network and storage settings so real-time viewing is smooth even when all cameras are active
• Supplying concise documentation so I can add or remove cameras later and carry out basic troubleshooting

Once the setup is complete I should be able to open a browser or dedicated client on my local network and instantly see all live feeds side-by-side. No recording or motion detection is necessary at this stage—only rock-solid live monitoring.

Please tell me which OS and software stack you plan to use, how quickly you can deliver, and any hardware prerequisites I might need to purchase before you begin.
