Comprehensive CCTV Installation & Server Audit

This job covers the entire lifecycle of a modern CCTV deployment together with a health check of the recording server. Work spans residential, commercial and industrial premises, so the design must scale from a house to a multi-unit site without changing core functionality.

Scope of work
• Carry out an on-site survey to map entrances, exits, indoor common areas and parking lots, then propose optimal camera positions and cable runs.
• Supply, mount and terminate IP cameras, PoE switches and an NVR/DVR that can sustain true 24/7 recording with RAID or similar redundancy.
• Activate motion-based alerts and fine-tune sensitivity so false positives stay under control.
• Set up secure remote viewing through web, iOS and Android apps; all streams should be viewable off-site without degrading on-prem bandwidth.
• Inspect the existing server, replace failing drives where necessary, update firmware, patch the OS and confirm adequate storage headroom for at least 30 days continuous footage.
• Finish with a live acceptance test: every camera must stream in full resolution, motion alerts must reach email and push endpoints within five seconds, and the server CPU load must not exceed 70 % during simultaneous playback and recording.

Deliverables
1. Installed hardware fully cabled and labelled
2. Server health report with before/after benchmarks
3. Network diagram and credentials list (encrypted)
4. One-page quick-start guide for end users

The timeline is flexible but I expect a realistic schedule with milestones for survey, install, configuration and final sign-off.
