I’m working on the conceptual phase of a new automotive component and need a CATIA specialist who understands plastic-part best practices from the outset. The goal is to shape a family of injection-molded parts that will ultimately live under-hood, so every rib, boss, and snap-fit must respect draft, tooling pull-direction, and warp-control from day one.

You’ll start from a rough envelope and performance targets. Using CATIA (V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE is fine), translate those constraints into clean parametric surfaces and solids, run your own draft and undercut checks, and propose feasible gate and parting-line locations so we have no surprises when we step into detailed design. Experience with automotive PP/PA-GF grades, short shot mitigation, and standard North-American tool builds will be a plus.

• Native CATPart/CATProduct files with an organized tree
• A brief draft-analysis screen capture set (images or embedded CATIA scenes)
• One PDF explaining key design decisions, gate options, and next-step recommendations
