I need an editor to write a statement of interest for applying a high school enrolment for my daughters.
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I am applying for Year 7 enrolment of a local Cathedral High School in Sydney, Australia for my 3 daughters. In the enrolment application form, I need to write a "statement of interest" in appro. 300 words to explain why this school will suit my daughters based on the goals of Sacred Heart Education. I'm an oversea born immigrant from non-English speaking background, and this school is a privileged one which means it's not easy to get in, I want to get a well-written, east to understand statement to maximize the chance of enrolment for my daughters. I will explain my reasons as follows:
I wish my daughters to be enrolled in the school because I heard from a few of my friends who sent their daughters to the school & all of them highly recommended it. They think the school is not a big one, but it gives a close caring environment for the students' personal development & academic pursuit. The teachers there are well trained, so they can cater the individual student's need and help them to maximize their potential in their years. The students get access to a great variety of sport & creative extra-curricular activities.
As the responses to the 5 goals of sacred heart education:
1. "A personal and active faith in God" - we have our belief in Christ even though we are not Catholic, we'd like to enrol our children in a school with similar Christian values, we'd also seek for spiritual guidance for our daughters in the coming years
2. A deep respect for intellectual values - I believe my daughters are very keen students to strive for academic excellence, and to explore new interests. The elder 2 daughters have decent results in their current years, Year 1 & Year 2, at their current primary school.
3. The building of community as a Christian value - Out daughters showed respect their teachers & demonstrated compassion towards fellow students in their classes when they need help
4. A social awareness which impels to action - we'd like our daughters to develop leadership skills & a strong sense of justice so they can act against oppression
5. Personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom - throughout the school life we'd like our daughters to deeply understand themselves, maximize their full potential to promote a positive change in the community/ world.
