Resin Light Saber hilt

I'd like to make a light saber hilt that is based on a dragon's tooth. I have a picture my design is based on (attached), although it is just a guideline. It would be made from resin and there would need to be space inside the tooth for the chip board and battery (I can get dimensions for this).
