I'm currently working on an educational project (non-commercial) focused on road safety and risk mapping. I'm looking for a GIS-skilled freelancer, preferably experienced with QGIS or ArcGIS, to assist me with a specific task.
Task Overview:
- Utilize provided crash data (with GPS coordinates) and a KML file tracing the road network.
- Perform sliding window analysis to scan through roads, analyze crash concentration per segment, and grade risks accordingly.
- Output the results into an Excel file specifying: road segment ID, number of crashes, crash severity (if available).
Goal: Create a graded risk map accompanied by detailed analytics in Excel highlighting crash-prone areas.
