Design and Create a Police Jurisdiction Area Print Map

We are looking for a skilled cartographer, GIS specialist, or graphic designer to create a high-quality printable map showing the jurisdiction area of a police department in North India Region. The map will serve as an official visual reference and will be printed for display and operational use.

Key Deliverables:

1.⁠ ⁠Base Map:
Accurate geographic layout showing roads, rivers, villages/towns, landmarks, and other key features.
Source may be OpenStreetMap, Google Earth, or any open-source GIS data.

2.⁠ ⁠Police Jurisdiction Boundary:
Clearly marked area of the jurisdiction (boundary will be provided as a rough sketch, list of villages, or coordinates or makred on google earth image or KML).
Must be overlaid on the base map.

3.⁠ ⁠Zone/Beat Division:
Sub-divisions within the jurisdiction (color-coded).

4.⁠ ⁠Important Locations Marked:
Police stations, outposts, checkpoints, administrative buildings, and any sensitive areas.
Custom icons/symbols are preferred.

5.⁠ ⁠Map Elements:
Title (e.g., “Jurisdiction Map – Police Station Name”)
Legend (color coding for beats/zones, symbols)
North Arrow
Scale Bar
Labels for villages, roads, rivers, etc.

6.⁠ ⁠Final Output:
High-resolution printable map in A3, A2, or A1 size (PDF and PNG)
Editable source files (e.g., QGIS, Illustrator, or layered PSD)

Description of jurisdiction limits
Branding/logos

Ideal Freelancer Profile:
Experience in GIS mapping, cartography, or map-based design
Skilled in QGIS, Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools
Ability to work with minimal supervision and clear communication
Prior experience with government or police mapping is a plus

Timeline:
Initial draft: 5–7 days
Final delivery: within 10 days of project start
