Golf Course Navigational Map Design
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m commissioning a set of overlay maps that will help players find their way around our course quickly and confidently. Each map has to present a clear, intuitive, hole-by-hole guide rather than just a basic layout, so accuracy and good visual hierarchy are critical.
You will start from the existing CAD drawings, aerial imagery, and yardage books I’ll provide. From those sources, translate every tee box, fairway, green, bunker, water hazard, and key landmark into a clean graphic that reads well in both print and digital formats. Distances, pars, and directional arrows should sit neatly on top of the artwork without cluttering the view.
Preferred tools are Illustrator or another vector platform that allows easy scaling, plus a light GIS workflow if that speeds up alignment with satellite data. Final deliverables: editable vector files (AI or SVG), a press-ready PDF for signage, and a high-resolution PNG set for our mobile app. Please confirm you can match our brand palette, supply two initial style concepts, and iterate until the committee signs off on a master map for all 18 holes.
