Environmental Report GIS Figures

Job ID: 40462747

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a set of clear, publication-ready GIS figures for an environmental report I am developing. Each map will be built on recent satellite imagery and must pinpoint wells, existing buildings, and any other distinguishing site features visible in the photos. High legibility at both A3 and A4 sizes is essential because the figures will drop straight into the report appendix with minimal tweaking.

I will need 4 figures:
1. Site location
2. Site layout and wells waste footprint etc
3. Site layout showing underground services and pit locations
4. A cross-section sketch in a similar format to the attached, i will provide a sketch it is not a scale drawing, more of a cartoon

Source requirements
• Satellite imagery forms the base layer such as current Australian Nearmap photos
• All wells, structures, tracks and other notable on-ground features must be digitised and labelled.
• Include a neat, readable scale bar, north arrow, and legend that stays consistent across every figure.

I will supply the study-area boundary and underground service planes; you bring the rest—access to quality satellite tiles, GIS software (ArcGIS Pro or QGIS), and cartographic flair. If you think a specific drone or orthophoto layer would sharpen detail, let me know and we can evaluate it together.

Deliverables
1. Print-ready PDFs (300 dpi+) of each figure (x3)
2. Corresponding editable GIS project or packaged layer file so I can make future tweaks.
3. A cross-section figure (x1) showing lithology and wells etc (see attached)

Once I accept the draft layouts, a short revision loop will follow to fine-tune labelling and colour choices. When those are signed off, please hand over the final assets and we are done. Im not in an immediate rush but would like to see the drafts within a week or so to make sure we are heading in the right direction.
