Create a Custom Illustrated Theme Map
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
We are seeking a talented illustrator/designer to create a large, detailed, branded theme map for our business.
The style should be inspired by the AO26 Australian Open illustrated map (see reference image), with playful, colourful, vector-based illustration, isometric/3D elements, and clear labels for different zones.
The purpose of the map is to visually guide guests through our venue/event and create a fun, engaging overview of all major areas and experiences.
STYLE REFERENCE
Primary reference:
AO26 Tournament Map (bright colours, cartoon-style illustrated environment, clean vector design, friendly characters, labelled zones, fun “discover the space” feel).
We expect:
Bright, modern colour palette (to match our brand)
Clean vector illustration (Adobe Illustrator preferred)
Playful, people-filled scene with activity and movement
Isometric or slightly top-down angle
Consistent style for buildings, trees, signage, characters, transport, and pathways
Labels and signboards integrated into the map
DELIVERABLES
Required:
Full illustrated map in vector format
AI (Adobe Illustrator) or EPS
Fully layered & editable
Organised layers (buildings, characters, labels, background, trees, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Portfolio showcasing illustrated maps, vector illustrations, or isometric artwork
Ability to replicate or match a consistent, polished, colourful illustrated style
Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator or vector design software
Ability to communicate and revise based on feedback
