City-Level QGIS Basemap Creation
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I'm looking for a professional who can create a QGIS basemap for a city. The basemap should include the following layers:
- Roads and highways
- Land use and land cover
- Hydrological features (rivers, lakes)
- Include building footprints layer for detailed representation of structures.
- Incorporate parks and recreation areas to highlight green spaces.
The data for these layers should be sourced primarily from OpenStreetMap.
Ideal candidates for this project will have extensive experience with QGIS, a deep understanding of geospatial data, and the ability to work with OpenStreetMap data. A thorough knowledge of urban geography and land use patterns would also be beneficial. Please provide examples of similar projects you have completed.
