Job ID: 35386854

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

A GIS project involving approx 600 images taken with a FUJI GFX100S camera in Nadir position in a single corridor,

The Task:

We were assigned to urgently fly and acquire nadir imagery along a railway corridor that has been impacted by flood waters.

The target line and photo centres file is attached in the csv Parkes to Condo 15Nov 2022,csv.

We used our mapping program to trigger and record the geo centres of each image.

The camera used was a Fuji GFX100S with 50 mm lens

The line was flown as a single run with at least 50% forward overlap.

The geocodes are embedded in the exif data in each image.

The work required.

Where possible, produce an ortho RGB in ECW format based on WGS84 . Tiled to 2 km lengths.

It maybe that you have to manually geo-reference some of the data. Google Earth would be a suitable baseline data set.

The client expects a generally accurate representation so they can do an initial assessment of damage to the rail corridor. This does NOT need to be of engineering quality. There is no need for GCP points.

Here is a link to download the imagery and you will note that the file name includes the original name with the additional characters appended…eg DSCF2670_SharpenAI-Focus.jpg.
