Woodworking Support
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I am looking for someone to help me turn raw Birch firewood logs into perfectly cut pieces, which can then be glued together to create end-grain chopping boards. I've tested the concept myself, and the quality of the Birch wood is excellent for woodwork and it's also kiln dried. The logs need cutting into 10mm thick planks first, and then those planks need their edges cut or routed for a perfect right-angled edge. Then, the planks would need cutting into 40mm pieces, which would be the depth of the end-grain board. I would then take these pieces via post / collection to create the boards. I need someone whom is preferably within South East London. I have also provided some 3D images to help explain the process. Thank you!
