(i) Can you sand a matchstick to being round and very thin, so that the match ends up looking like a club? Obviously this is pretty delicate stuff. It could start with a thicker match though (the longer ones are much thicker) and just be cut to the length of the box at the end.
(ii) Can a baton (i.e. matchhead taken off first) be sanded to look like a pair of skis? If so, can I order 5 pairs of those? Again, just as close to looking like it's started from a match as possible. If it can be done from a match, great, if not, next best thing - just an aspen baton that's thick enough to work with.
