Interior Wooden Column Installation
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I have 2- "L" out of 1/4" and 1-3/4" 4 sided custom-made wooden millwork columns that need to be installed inside an office in Woodland Hills. The columns are already fabricated to size; what I require is a skilled installer who can handle fine carpentry, precise leveling, scribing and secure anchoring without damaging surrounding finishes. Also install and scribe to floor some 1/4" base around a kitchen island 3'x 14' aprox.
Scope of work
• I will deliver the columns and meet you there and we will transfer from ground level to their final interior positions.
• Confirm plumb and alignment before fastening.
• Anchor to floor and framing and drywall behind, hiding all fasteners for a clean millwork finish.
• Scribe or trim bases as needed so everything fits seamlessly against existing surfaces.
• Touch-up sanding and wood-putty fill on any minor scratches made during handling.
Please let me know your estimated timeframe, the tools you plan to bring (laser level, finish nailer, adhesive, etc.), and any similar interior column projects you have completed. I’m looking to schedule this as soon as possible.
