Home Handyman: Fencing & Deck
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I’m looking for a reliable handyman with solid carpentry and outdoor maintenance skills to help tidy up a few areas around my home. The very first job is urgent: I need chicken wire installed along more than 20 m of existing wooden fencing so my new puppy can’t squeeze through any gaps. Please bring the tools and fasteners you prefer—speed and a clean finish matter most.
Once the puppy-proofing is done, I’d like to move straight on to:
• Building and installing a safe, good-looking balustrade on the front deck.
• Extending the rear ground-level deck so it blends seamlessly with the current boards (matching height, spacing, and stain).
• A handful of smaller odd jobs that we can agree on as we go—think minor fixes, touch-ups, and general maintenance.
If you’re comfortable working with timber, chicken wire, and standard decking hardware, let’s connect. Clear communication, respect for the site, and tidy workmanship will win the job.
