Fix Metal Cutlery Drawer Slides
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
My kitchen’s metal cutlery drawer has lost its pulling frame and the slides are no longer attached, so the drawer currently can’t open or close. All the original hardware went missing during a recent move, and I don’t have any replacement parts on hand.
I’m looking for someone who can supply the correct runners / slides and reinstall the drawer so it glides smoothly and sits flush with the rest of the cabinetry. No other drawers need attention—just this single metal cutlery unit—and I don’t require hinge, handle, or alignment work elsewhere.
Please let me know:
• the type of slides or runners you plan to use
• how soon you can source the parts and complete the fix
• your estimated time on site and any warranty you offer on parts or workmanship
The job is done when the drawer opens and closes effortlessly, supports normal cutlery weight, and lines up evenly with the surrounding fronts.
