Door Sill Replacement & Installation
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
Three of my exterior door sills are rotting and must come out. I want new, solid-wood sills cut, fit, and secured in their place, with all old material removed from the site when you’re done. While you’re here, I also need a door for the garage entry to be hung, shimmed, and trimmed so it latches cleanly and seals against the weather.
Please bring everything required—saws, nail guns, exterior-grade adhesive, caulk, and any shims or trim stock you’ll need. The job is complete when:
• the three wood sills sit flush, feel solid underfoot, and show no daylight from outside,
• the garage door opens and closes smoothly, is square in the frame, and all gaps are properly weather-sealed
