Custom Wood & Cane Pet Furniture

I’m ready to commission a small collection of handcrafted pet furniture and need an experienced carpenter who is equally comfortable working with solid wood and cane. The brief covers three coordinated pieces—a raised pet bed, a weather-resistant pet house, and an engaging play structure—designed to look cohesive in both style and finish.

Each item should be sturdy enough for everyday use, safe for animals, and finished with non-toxic stains or clear coats. I already have rough sketches with dimensions and a mood-board highlighting the kind of cane weave I prefer; your role is to turn those concepts into detailed shop drawings, source appropriate timber and cane, and build the final pieces.

I’ll handle pickup once the job is complete, so local or near-by makers are preferred, but if you can package the furniture securely for shipping, I’m open to that option as well. When you respond, please point me to at least one past project that shows your wood-and-cane craftsmanship, mention the tools or techniques you normally use for joinery and weaving, and give me an estimated timeline for the three pieces.
