AI Driver Simulation on CARLA
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a skilled developer to set up and run tests on the CARLA simulator with AI-driven vehicles. The goal is to create AI drivers that mimic human variability in driving behavior, from very mellow to extremely aggressive.
Key Requirements:
- 15 AI drivers with varied aggression levels
- Constant speed of 50 mph
- Sudden braking upon obstacle introduction (50 meters ahead)
- Measure driver reaction times with and without Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
- Steering correction when vehicle drifts out of lane
-Measure driver reaction times with and without Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
Test Structure:
- 30 runs total: 15 without FCW, 15 with FCW
- 30 runs for lane departure: 15 without LDW, 15 with LDW
- Total of 60 runs
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in CARLA simulator
- Experience with AI models (Reinforcement Learning, Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms)
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python
- Background in robotics or autonomous vehicles is a plus
Please provide your approach and any relevant experience.
