2D General Map Designer for Attraction Navigation Map (Similar to Yas Waterworld Style)
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative 2D General Map Designer to develop a visually engaging and easy-to-navigate map for our attraction-based location. The final design will be used both online and in print, helping visitors effortlessly explore various zones and attractions — much like the illustrated map of Yas Waterworld.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ A designer experienced in creating detailed, isometric, or semi-realistic 2D illustrated maps
✅ Ability to incorporate branding, landmarks, attractions, and themed zones into a cohesive visual
✅ Skills in balancing visual appeal with clear, user-friendly navigation
✅ Creative flair and attention to detail, especially in textures, icons, and themed visuals
✅ Ability to take concept input and translate it into polished map artwork
✅ Experience designing maps for theme parks, resorts, festivals, or similar spaces is a plus
Map Requirements:
Similar style and quality to the Yas Waterworld map (uploaded as reference)
Colorful, playful, and clearly segmented zones
Key landmarks illustrated (buildings, slides, attractions, etc.)
Icons for services (restrooms, dining, entrances, medical, lockers, etc.)
Scalable for digital and print (high-resolution final output)
Editable source file preferred (AI, PSD, or similar)
Deliverables:
Concept sketch / rough layout
Final illustrated map in both high-res PNG/JPEG and editable format
Icon and legend designs (if not embedded)
