Comic Book Illustration - Horror & Comedy
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking a comic book illustrator to provide pages for a comic intended to be a gift for friends. This will not be published, so there is no hard deadline. I'll pay for each page as I recieve them. I typically draw this series myself, but am too busy for this issue. The characters are already designed. Looking for black and white illustrations but open to the idea of color if you think it suites your style better.
Ideal skills for this project:
- Ability to convey a mixed tone of horror, action and comedy
- Must be comfortable with drawing lgbtq characters and content
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and pacing
- Unique drawing styles preferred over generic Marvel/DC house styles
- Emphasis on body language and facial expressions
- Ability to draw numerous people in scenes and keep their movements clear
- Ability to draw recognizable celebrities, clinically depressed muppets, and giant evil cyborgs
