Children's storybook illustration
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
This project is for illustrations for a children's storybook featuring the main character who is an African Grey Parrot. The storybook is aimed at ages 6-12, so the artwork needs to be bright, colourful, and appealing to children.
I prefer the illustration to be colourful. I want the backgrounds to have some realism but the characters to have a cute, cartoonish quality to them - to appeal to children. I quite like watercolour style. I want it to look more drawn/ painted than digital cartoons
The African Grey Parrot needs to look very cute, like a cartoon. I want the artwork to feel like the background feels real, it will feature backgrounds such as the African Savannah, or a lush green jungle with colourful flowers. The characters in the book will be cute and appealing to children. There will be 11 pages of artwork, plus a book cover and the back of the book artwork - 13 illustrations in total.

The background will be a mix of African savannah with green trees and blue sky, to create an inviting environment.
