Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counseling: Assess students' educational backgrounds and career objectives to provide personalized guidance. Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their academic aspirations, interests, strengths, and weaknesses.
2. Academic Support: Monitor students' academic progress and identify areas where they may need additional assistance. Develop and implement academic improvement plans, including study strategies and time management techniques.
3. Career Counseling: Administer career assessments and personality tests to help students explore potential career paths.
4. Personal Counseling: Offer emotional and psychological support to students facing personal challenges affecting their academic performance.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress. Generate reports on counseling activities and outcomes.
6. Professional Development: Stay current with trends in education, career development, and counseling techniques.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Teaching, or a related field.
• Retired teachers with a passion for guiding and mentoring students are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of academic and career assessment tools.
