Video Editor for Short form content (YouTube Shorts & Instagram Reels)

I’m looking for a creative and skilled video editor who can edit short-form content for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. The editing style should be modern, professional, and high-retention — meaning fast-paced edits that keep viewers engaged from start to finish.

What You’ll Be Editing
>> Short-form vertical videos (9:16 format)
>> Typically 15–60 seconds
>> Talking head videos / voiceovers / informational content (depending on the topic)
Editing Style Needed
>> Fast cuts / jump cuts (remove pauses, keep it crisp)
>> Captions/Subtitles (clean, modern style, correctly synced)
>> B-roll / stock clips / relevant visuals to support the content
>> Zoom in/out effects + motion to make the video dynamic
>> Sound effects (SFX) for punchlines and transitions
>> Background music (copyright-free) and balanced audio
>> Color correction / brightness adjustments for a clean look
>> Strong hook in the first 1–2 seconds to increase retention
Deliverables
>> 1080x1920 vertical output
>> High quality export (.mp4)
>> Clean audio + synced subtitles
>> Final result ready to upload on Instagram & YouTube
