25-Second Makeup Reel Editing for reels

I want to publish a short, snappy makeup reel that showcases an everyday look in a total runtime of about 25 seconds. Each scene should last roughly two to three seconds, stitched together with quick-cut transitions so the final video feels punchy and engaging.
I’m comfortable using CapCut for basic trims, but I’m not sure how to plan, record, and split the footage so everything flows smoothly. That’s where I need your support. I have no clips yet, so the first step is guiding me through the recording process—camera angles, lighting, and any tips for keeping shots consistent. Once the raw footage is captured, I’d like you to edit it in CapCut (or show me how) so the finished reel hits that 25-second mark with crisp cuts between each step of the everyday routine.
Deliverables
• Direction on recording the required shots (approx. ten clips at 2–3 seconds each).
• Either a polished, ready-to-post video file or a clear, step-by-step screen-share/tutorial that leaves me confident editing future reels on my own.
