I’m looking for a skilled short-form video editor who can turn raw clips into scroll-stopping Instagram Reels. The goal is social-media engagement, so every cut, effect and caption has to feel native to the platform.
You’ll be working primarily in CapCut or Alight Motion—whichever lets you move fastest while still delivering crisp visuals, smooth transitions and on-beat audio. Expect a mix of vertical footage, user-generated clips and the occasional motion-graphics element; your job is to weave them into polished 15-60 second videos ready for immediate upload to Instagram.
Deliverables
• Finished Reel in 1080×1920 MP4 (H.264)
• Editable project file (CapCut or Alight Motion)
• One thumbnail image pulled from the final cut
Acceptance Criteria
• Video opens strong within the first 3 seconds
• Text, stickers and effects remain fully readable on mobile
• Final file size meets Instagram’s current limits and passes an on-platform quality check
