A2 School Vocabulary Booklet
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a visually engaging booklet created in Canva that introduces A2-level students to English words and phrases related specifically to school and education. The aim is to hand this out as classroom material, so the design must be clean, easy to read, and appealing to teenagers who are still building confidence in English.
Scope of work
• Organise the vocabulary thematically (classroom objects, subjects, timetable terms, people in school, common instructions, etc.).
• Present each word or short phrase with its phonetic spelling (IPA or simple phonics), a clear A2-appropriate example sentence, and—where useful—a small illustrative icon or photo.
• Keep the focus purely on vocabulary with examples; no quizzes, multiple-choice items, or other exercises are required.
• Use Canva styles, colours, and fonts that reproduce well both on screen and in print (A5 or A4—advise on the best size).
• Ensure the file is fully editable so my team can add or remove words later.
Deliverables
1. Editable Canva link with all assets properly layered.
2. Print-ready PDF exported at 300 dpi.
3. Quick guide (one page or less) explaining fonts and colour codes used.
Acceptance criteria
• All words match A2 CEFR level and the “school & education” topic only.
• Consistent formatting across pages; no font or colour shifts.
• Example sentences are error-free and limited to A2 grammar structures.
• Both the Canva link and the PDF open without missing assets or broken links.
If you have a sample of previous educational layout work, feel free to share it so I can get a sense of your style.
