Math content can cover counting, number recognition, very simple addition or shape sorting. For English, focus on alphabet familiarity, letter-sound correspondence, sight words or basic vocabulary. To keep attention high, weave in at least one of these activity styles per page: sections to colour, letters or numbers to trace, or a simple puzzle such as a matching game or beginner maze.

A bright, uncluttered layout is important, with artwork that feels playful yet clear enough for home or classroom printers.
