Modern Newsletter Template Design

My team sends out a monthly email packed with news and updates, and it is time for a fresh, modern layout that feels current but still keeps reading effortless. I would like you to craft a reusable template—think clean grid, clear hierarchy, plenty of breathing room—that I can drop text and images into each month without fuss.

I’m open on colour palette; feel free to propose combinations that fit a contemporary look while remaining versatile enough for varied topics. The newsletter will mainly host short articles, quick announcements, and maybe an occasional hero image, so the structure should flex for different lengths yet stay visually consistent from edition to edition.

Deliverables
• One fully editable source file (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, or Canva—whichever you find most efficient)
• An exported HTML or PDF sample showing the template populated with placeholder copy so I can see spacing and typography in action
• A brief style guide: font names, colour codes, and guidance on image sizes

Acceptance criteria
• Layout follows a modern aesthetic with clear, legible typography
• Sections for headlines, body copy, pull-quotes, and optional image blocks are distinctly defined
• Colours and styles are documented so my team can update future issues without ambiguity
