Long-Term Contract: Canva Specialist to Repurpose Longform videos to 100+ Educational Shorts (High Volume)
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Project Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Canva Video Editor for a long-term partnership. We have a library of educational content that needs to be converted into hundreds of YouTube Shorts.
The Scope:
Volume: This is an ongoing project involving 100s of Shorts.
Batch Work: For every Long-Form video we provide, we expect you to produce 5 to 8 distinct Shorts.
Efficiency: This is not a "design from scratch" job. You will be provided with the original Canva Source Files (Landscape) containing all diagrams, animations, and assets, along with the Talking Head Video. Your role is to resize, remix, and sync.
The Workflow:
You will be added to our Canva Team account. For each batch:
Canvas Setup: Convert the workspace to Mobile Video (1080 x 1920).
Split-Screen Layout:
Top 35%: Speaker Video (Cropped/masked to focus on head/shoulders).
Bottom 65%: Graphics/Data Area.
Visual Remixing (The "Sticker" Method):
Extract existing diagrams (boxes, arrows, text) from the landscape slides.
Re-stack them: Change horizontal layouts to vertical stacks to maximize mobile readability.
Note: You are reusing existing assets, not creating new ones.
Animation Sync:
Ensure the visual elements appear on screen exactly when the speaker mentions them.
Captioning:
Move/Resize captions to the center (overlapping the speaker) for mobile visibility.
Confidentiality & Access Requirements (Strict):

Project-Based Access: You will be granted access to our Canva Team account specifically for active projects. Access is revoked upon completion of the batch.
Intellectual Property (Work-For-Hire): All video content, scripts, icons, designs, and deliverables remain the exclusive property of the Client. You retain no rights to the work and cannot use these assets for your personal portfolio.
Data Security: You strictly agree not to download or retain any proprietary information, scripts, or raw footage on personal drives after the project is complete. You must permanently delete any local copies within 7 days of batch completion.
No Subcontracting: You must perform the work yourself; outsourcing to other editors is not permitted due to security protocols.
Skills Required:
-Canva Video Mastery: Expert handling of timelines and element layering.
-Educational Context: Ability to keep complex diagrams legible when resizing for mobile.
-Consistency: Ability to process high volumes of video while maintaining the exact same style guide.
Deliverables:
-5-8 Vertical Video Files per batch (MP4, 1080x1920).
-The Edited Canva Project Links (saved within our Team folder).
