Grade 1-2 Counting Worksheet Design

I’m putting together a fresh set of printable maths worksheets for Standard 1 and Standard 2 pupils. Each worksheet must present 10 well-structured questions that reinforce counting and number-recognition skills only—no addition or subtraction this time.

To keep the children engaged, every question should be paired with a clear, colourful image. Please draw from two friendly themes: Animals plus Fruits & Vegetables. Mix them across the sheets so the visuals stay varied and fun.

I’ll share a sample worksheet as a design reference once we start; match its general look and difficulty level but feel free to improve the layout for clarity and visual appeal. Finished files should be press-ready PDFs (A4) along with the original, editable source files you use—Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, or PowerPoint are all fine.
