An Email Design Assistant at Jerky.com is responsible for writing & designing engaging e-mail campaigns that convert.
Jerky.com is a 15-year-old business that offers over 100 kinds of jerky and gift packages. We have a large and loyal customer base, a strong social media presence, and well-defined workflows. Essentially everything is aligned for a driven individual to thrive in this role.
You will work closely with our Marketing Manager to ensure e-mail campaigns are designed, proofed, and queued prior to deadlines. The ideal candidate has multiple years of design experience, can adhere to our brand guidelines, has excellent copywriting skills, and is hyper-focused on conversion. This individual is expected to closely monitor our marketing calendar and make any necessary revisions to each campaign in a timely manner.

Performance will be measured by your ability to understand campaign objectives, submit proofs that consistently align with our expectations, and gladly accept constructive criticism with the goal of improving.
Responsibilities:
-Develop email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, retain customers, and/or drive conversions to our e-commerce site
-Craft compelling, personalized, and engaging email content that resonates with target audiences
-A/B test various email elements to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
-Make edits to existing Klaviyo email templates
-Update Trello when proofs are ready for review
-Meet periodically for briefing, to discuss performance, and to identify opportunities
