Convert Word Newsletter to Canva Template
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have my non-profit quarterly newsletter fully laid out in Microsoft Word—text, headings, images, and spacing are exactly where I want them. What I need now is the same look and feel recreated in Canva so every future edition is easier to update and distribute.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Build a reusable Canva template that mirrors the current Word design pixel-for-pixel.
• Drop the existing content (text and pictures) straight into that template so the current issue is publication-ready.
• Work my brand colors and logo into the file and make sure the design scales cleanly on different screen sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile).
I’ll supply: the Word document, brand palette, logo files, and any image assets that aren’t already embedded.
Acceptance criteria:
1. Editable Canva link delivered, with all elements organized in labeled layers or sections for easy updates.
2. Final issue exported from Canva as print-quality PDF and a separate web-optimized PDF.
3. Layout matches the Word version in typography, spacing, and overall flow while respecting the brand colors and logo placement.
4. Template remains fully responsive inside Canva’s resize feature for common device widths.
If anything in the Word file can’t translate perfectly to Canva, flag it before proceeding so we can adjust together. Looking forward to a smooth hand-off and a template I or you can use quarterly.
