I run an education-focused YouTube channel and want every video to stand out at first glance. The look I’m after feels beginner-friendly—inviting rather than intimidating—so viewers instantly sense that the content is clear, practical and easy to follow.
Your task is to design eye-catching thumbnails that feature people prominently. Whether it’s a close-up of me teaching or a relatable stock figure, the human element needs to headline the composition and connect with new learners scrolling their feed. Clean, readable fonts and colours that pop on mobile are essential, but I prefer the design to stay uncluttered; text should support the image, not fight it.
Please work in Photoshop or a comparable tool that lets you hand over layered files. Finished thumbnails must be 1280 × 720 px, under 2 MB, and delivered as both editable PSD (or similar) and ready-to-upload PNG.
For the first video, provide three initial concepts so I can gauge which direction clicks best with my audience. After I give notes, refine the chosen option into the final thumbnail. If we click creatively, I’ll have a steady stream of lessons waiting for new visuals.
