Custom Hand-Drawn Birthday Card
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I want to turn one of our favourite photos into a keepsake A5 birthday card for my wife. The front should feature a hand-drawn, realistic sketch that captures the mood and likeness of the picture attached. Inside, I’d like roughly 100 words of heartfelt text written in a classic calligraphy style—elegant, flowing strokes that look as if they were penned decades ago. I will send you the writing to go inside.
The whole piece needs to be produced on high-quality textured paper so it feels substantial and unique when she holds it. A brief pencil rough of the portrait and a sample line of the calligraphy before inking would help me confirm we’re on the same page. When everything is finished, please send me a high-resolution scan for safekeeping and mail the physical card in protective packaging so it arrives pristine.
If you’re comfortable with realistic portrait sketching, traditional nibs or dip pens, and careful handling of fine art paper, I’d love to collaborate and create something she’ll treasure.
