‘वात्सल्य’ Calligraphy Designs Needed
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m commissioning a set of fresh, distinctly different renderings of the single Hindi word “वात्सल्य” for a name-plate that will be mounted at the main entrance of a house. My client wants the lettering to feel unmistakably traditional—think time-honoured Devanagari flourishes, balanced strokes, and the quiet elegance you find in classic manuscripts—yet still clear enough to read quickly from a short distance.
Here’s the practical side of what I need:
• 5–7 unique, high-resolution calligraphy treatments of “वात्सल्य”, each explored with its own rhythm, weight and ornamentation while staying within a traditional aesthetic
• Final artwork delivered as editable vector files (AI or SVG) plus a print-ready PDF; include a flattened PNG preview for each version
• Stroke outlines preserved so the designs can be scaled for laser-cut metal or engraved acrylic without losing detail
• Black-on-white originals are fine; if you add subtle line accents or shirorekha variations, keep them single-colour so production remains straightforward
I’ll review the concepts, choose one for the actual plate, and may request a small refinement round to perfect spacing or curve tension. If you’re passionate about classical Hindi lettering and enjoy pushing tiny nuances of line weight, I’d love to see your portfolio or a quick sketch that proves you’re the right fit.
