Calligraphy Designer for Signature App

I’m building a mobile-and-web platform that lets people craft truly personal, handwritten-style signatures and then refine them with the help of in-app AI. To make that experience shine, I need a calligraphy artist who can supply fully custom lettering assets—everything from individual strokes and ligatures to complete signature samples—ready for my developers to turn into responsive, vector-based components.

Your day-to-day will revolve around producing original calligraphy that scales cleanly across devices, preparing each piece in digital-friendly formats (SVG, high-res PNG, and, when appropriate, OTF/TTF), and working closely with our engineers so the artwork plugs straight into the signature-creation workflow. Although the app will eventually branch into logo and icon work, the first release is entirely focused on personalized signatures, and we want users to feel they’re getting a one-off creation rather than tweaking a template.

Success here means:
• Every character or flourish you deliver is vector-sharp, layered logically, and named consistently so our AI can recombine elements without artifacts.
• Style sheets accompany each batch, noting stroke weight, recommended color ranges, and any OpenType features we should expose to users.
• Turnaround times stay predictable—short exploratory sprints at first, then weekly drops as we scale the asset library.
