Intro Calculus Tutor (English Preferred)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My goal is to master limits and continuity at the introductory Calculus level through conversation-driven lessons. I learn best when I can hear concepts explained clearly, ask questions on the spot, and work through examples together, so each session should feel like an interactive lecture rather than a slide show.
Here is what will make the partnership work smoothly:
• Language: fluent English for all explanations; the ability to switch to Chinese when a quick comparison or clarification helps will be an added bonus.
• Format: live, voice-based meetings on Zoom, Google Meet, or any platform that lets us speak freely and share a digital whiteboard.
• Rhythm: one or two one-hour meetings per week to start, with concise homework or practice problems that reinforce what we cover.
• Focus: precise definitions, intuitive reasoning, and plenty of worked examples for limits, continuity, and the foundational ideas that lead into derivatives.
By the end of each lesson I should walk away with clear notes, a short set of practice problems, and the feeling that I can explain the day’s topic back to you in my own words.
