Differential Calculus Tutor Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I’m midway through a calculus course and need targeted support to solidify my grasp of differential calculus—specifically limits and continuity, derivatives and their applications, and classic optimization problems. My current understanding is at an intermediate level: I can follow lectures and complete straightforward exercises, but I still get stuck when concepts are combined or when a problem demands a clever twist.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Short, live tutoring sessions (screen-sharing or whiteboard preferred) where we can walk through my problem sets in real time.
• Clear, step-by-step explanations that not only show how to solve a question but also highlight the underlying reasoning so I can transfer the method to new situations.
• Occasional takeaway exercises or pointers to resources that reinforce what we cover.
I’m comfortable with standard tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, or an online whiteboard; if you have a preferred platform, just let me know. My priority is consistency and clarity—ideally we meet two or three times a week until I’m confidently handling these topics on my own.
If you enjoy breaking down tricky calculus ideas for someone who already knows the basics, I’d love to hear how you would approach our sessions and what schedule works best for you.
