Job Specification:
The primary task is to implement an update of the graphical design of our existing website and to update the framework. (Update the system to CakePHP 4.2 running on PHP 8 or later. Currently, we have CakePHP v. 2.7.2 running on PHP 5). We may also be interested in a longer term relationship with a developer to manage our site and assist us with small pieces of development.
Specific requirements are as follows:
• Setting up a staging server for development.
• Making a backup of the existing site to avoid future issues.
• Implement the new graphic design on the website, making any development upgrades, changes as required.
• Updating the framework to CakePHP 4.2 running on PHP 8.
• Ensure compatibility and visual performance cross devices (mobile, tablet, etc).;
• Ensure the site is SEO and pages / tags are correctly implemented.
• Ensure any analytics code (Google Analytics, etc) is correctly implemented for cookies / tracking.
• Ensure that the new version of the website is correctly implemented on our server to go live.
• Payment will be a fixed price and paid either in phases or on an hourly basis.
• It is important the entire project is completed swiftly (1 month).
We have the whole project with a thorough description in PPT, which we are going to share with you.

We are a financial advisory firm based in London. We are looking for a Web Developer for our website. This is primarily a cosmetic update and we not need much new functionality. Primarily we want to upgrade the look-and-feel of our website and also ensure it is running on an up-to-date framework. The current website was last built in 2015.
We have a graphics designer who has already prepared a template homepage design for how the new website should look. The developer who we are going to hire should replicate the style and format of the design and develop the fully functional website. Based on this, first and foremost we are seeking a good developer with a slight amount of design skills.
Payment:
This is a job that best suits an individual or company with a good development skills, experience in working with CakePHP framework and a slight amount of design skills.
Our indicative conditions are:
• Price – to be determined by likely in the range of $500- 1,000 for all of the work explained above
• Deadline for the project – max. 1 month for all of the work explained above
