Brass Product Modeling & Detailing
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have a series of brass-based products in development that now need to move from concept sketches into fully resolved CAD. The work must be carried out in both SolidWorks and Rhino so the files remain compatible with our existing manufacturing partners.
Scope of the job
– Create accurate 3D models of each item in SolidWorks, then refine surface details in Rhino where necessary.
– Apply realistic brass textures and finish variations (polished, brushed, antique, etc.) so we can render true-to-life visuals for marketing.
– Build in the mechanical functionality of moving parts, fastenings, and tolerances so the models are production-ready.
Deliverables
1. Native SolidWorks files (.sldprt / .sldasm) with full feature tree.
2. Rhino (.3dm) surfaces cleaned and layer-organised.
3. High-resolution renderings showing at least three finish options per product.
4. 2D technical drawings with dimensions and tolerances suitable for CNC and foundry use.
Acceptance criteria
• All assemblies open without errors and rebuild cleanly.
• Brass material properties and finish call-outs match the provided style guide.
• Moving components simulate freely with no interferences at specified clearances.
The product line is small to start—two table accessories and one decorative fitting—but there is additional work in the pipeline if this stage runs smoothly. Please factor at least one feedback round into your timeline and mention any plugins or render engines you intend to use so we can keep our workflow aligned.
