Appliance Drawings & Manual
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have designed a new household appliance and now need two intertwined deliverables: a full set of production-ready technical drawings and a clear, consumer-friendly user manual.
Technical side
The appliance is primarily mechanical, but it also contains electrical wiring and a simple push-button user interface. I need dimensioned CAD drawings that cover:
• Exploded and assembled views of every mechanical part, including tolerances and materials
• A wiring diagram that an electrician can follow without guesswork
• A front-panel layout showing the exact placement, labelling and colour coding of the controls
Documentation side
Once the drawings are complete, I’ll need a user manual that translates those details into everyday language. The manual should open with safety advice, then move through unboxing, installation, operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting. Illustrations or call-outs pulled from the CAD files are welcome to keep everything visually consistent.
Preferred tools
I’m comfortable reviewing files in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 for the drawings and a print-ready PDF for the manual (InDesign, Affinity Publisher or similar). If you work in another package, let me know and we can check compatibility.
Acceptance criteria
• All drawings provided in native CAD format plus PDF.
• Manual delivered as an editable source file and final press-quality PDF.
• Content must meet standard appliance safety labelling conventions (ISO 3864).
• English spelling and grammar proof-read.
If you have a track record creating documentation for household appliances and can move seamlessly between the engineering and consumer perspectives, I’d love to see examples of past work and discuss timelines.
