electrical + plumbing 2d 3d model design as well
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m ready to move forward with a set of complete, permit-ready drawings for a modular A-Frame cabin that will serve as a full-time residential dwelling. I need an experienced architect or designer who can take the concept from rough sketches and inspiration photos to a fully detailed drawing package that my local builder and code office can rely on.
Scope
• Architectural drawings: floor plans, elevations, sections, roof details, window and door schedules, material call-outs, and any structural notes needed for an A-Frame.
• MEP integration: fully coordinated electrical layout (breaker schedule, lighting, receptacles, switches, low-voltage) and a plumbing plan showing supply, waste, vent lines, fixture rough-ins, plus any mechanical chases required.
• Modular considerations: components must be sized for factory construction and on-site assembly; connection details and transport limits should be factored in.
• Energy/code compliance: assume a typical North American residential code base (please flag additional requirements once you know the jurisdiction).
• Optional but welcome: a simple 3-D model (SketchUp, Revit, or similar) to help visualize finishes and aid in panel fabrication.
What I will provide
• Site info, survey, and any local code notes I already have.
• My inspiration images, target square footage range, and priorities for interior layout.
What I expect back
• PDF drawing set plus editable CAD files (DWG or RVT).
• A concise revision cycle so we reach permit-ready status.
• Bill of materials and fixture legends linked to the plans.
Because this is a primary residence, accuracy and buildability are critical. If you have previously completed off-site-built or A-Frame projects, please mention them and share a sample sheet or two. I’m available for quick Zoom walk-throughs to keep momentum up and will respond promptly to RFIs.
